Winds still here...so I took advantage of it and did my washing.. Winds so strong took me all my time to peg it out...
We went into town and I checked for my mail I got one parcel still 2 to come.

We then went to the information centre and found out all about The Nullarbor Links golf course... which is in Western Australia's Golden Outback. This unique 18-hole par 72 golf course spans 1,365 klms from Kalgoorlie in Western Australia to Ceduna in South Australia, depending which way you are travelling. A single hole can be played in each participating town or roadhouse along the Eyre Highway, each featuring a green, (hummm) a tee and a fairway of rugged outback natural terrain and they certainly were not joking about that....

The Nullarbor Links has taken almost 5 years to get off the ground. Like many grand plans, it was formed between friends, Alf Caputo and Bob Bongiorno, over a bottle of red wine at the Balladonia Roadhouse. It was completed in 2009.

John booked his card which cost $70...John has to play the first hole at the Ceduna Golf Club and also the last hole .. And each time he gets his card stamped to confirm he's been there and played the holes...

OMG the golf course was an eye opener..!No Grass !! The fairways were just dirt like everywhere else in these places...and the green was like a crushed black metal of some sort...the terrain plus the wind..really made it difficult for John.. But we enjoyed it ... It was fun...and we got some exercise as unlike when John plays in Sydney he always has a buggy... Here he had to carry his own golf bag... He said I should be the caddy and carry it... But he didn't get away with that ....

Just an old shed turned into a club
