Monday 20th February to Thursday 23rd February 2012 Port Augusta

We are at HOT !! Port Augusta and we are here for 5 days... Its nice to settle down for a little while...When we arrived we followed another big rig in and we thought our truck was big ... check this out....

Baz and Annie  have been on the road for just over 2 years, and we had a lot in common and lots to chat about ..spent most of the evening's having happy hour with them.

Not much to report from here, except the heat.... it's been so hot... in the 40's every day so we haven't done much at all... spent a lot of time inside in the a/c. Not much to see in Port Augusta anyway...

We went out to dinner on Wednesday night to "Barnacle Bills" great seafood place...

Thursday night the local club opens for dinner and we went out with Baz and Annie for a meal before we leave tomorrow..very simple meal but very nice ...and more to the point very cheap...
