16th May 2012 Turquoise Bay

We loved the beach so much and it was so hot that we decided to go back again for the day...plus the swimming pool at the caravan park had been closed for some reason.. so we couldn't cool off there...

We had a lovely day the water was awesome and John went snorkeling.....

But the fish today were amazing...swimming around us

On the way back from the beach we had contact from Bernadetta & Peter and they had arrived in Exmouth staying at the Lighthouse Caravan Park, which we had to pass on our way back home...we decided to call in on them and catch up... But before we did we checked out the light house and its views....

The Vlamingh Head Lighthouse is located 17 kms north of Exmouth town centre. The Lighthouse overlooks Lighthouse Bay and has the distinction of being one of the few places in Australia where you can watch the sun set and rise. The Lighthouse was built in 1912 and stands on the northernmost tip of the Cape Range.
