6th - 10th April Easter at Australind

Arrived at Australind to find a nice little town just outside Bunbury in the Harvey Shire..Australind is virtually surrounded by water with the Brunswick and Collie Rivers to the east and south, and the Leschenault Estuary to the west — a paradise where you can enjoy boating, sailing and windsurfing. The estuary is right opposite the caravan park...where I have been able to catch some awesome sunsets...

We arrived early on Good Friday  and by late afternoon it was like "tent city" ....tents everywhere and all around us...lots of families away for the Easter break...

We don't plan on doing much this Easter weekend..just relaxing...as not much open anyway..

We went for a drive into Bunbury...and it's a lot bigger than we thought it was... we checked out the shops and then went for a drive down to Back Beach...which was very ordinary nothing like the ones at Esperance :(

Back Beach

We also found a look out in the middle of town Marlston Hill Rotary Tower  built by the Rotary Club..a Bicentennial project, which offers an excellent 360 degree view of Bunbury harbour and the breakwater.

And here are the sunsets I took over the weekend...
