13th - 15th August 2012

After saying our goodbyes we headed out of Winton travelling to Hughendon. There was not much to report really except we have travelled over 17,000 kms and in the last few days we have had two separate attacks on our windscreen...bugger

This one hit the drivers side, and a little caravan did it grrrrrrrr

Second one was a real big hit came off a road train, hit that hard it splattered glass fragments on the dashboard...and now it has sent splits all over the screen...

We spent one night in Hughendon and then travelled on to Charter Towers where we spent a couple of nights...we were going to spend the next few days getting to Airlie beach but we decided to drive straight through to there.
