Well we have come to the end of our journey for 2012

We have travelled all around Australia since we left Camden in February 2012

We have been to some amazing places and seen some wonderful things..

The experience will never be forgotten and we will talk about them many times during the rest of our lives.

I'm pleased I have been able to share our journey with all our family and friends

Hope you have enjoyed reading it as much as I have enjoyed recording it..

Thanks to my darling man John for driving me the 23,000 klms we have travelled this last year,

without him I would have never had the opportunity to have had this experience.

We are now having a rest at our home base in Camden Caravan Park till next February, fitting in all our hospital, dental and doctors appointment in between... no wonder we have to come back here once a year lol

We are heading out on a Cruise to New Zealand for 2 weeks in January, before we leave again for yet another experience of this great country.

We will spend Christmas and New Year with family and friends, and our thoughts will be with  Johns Children ...Daniel and his fiance Jen and Haley as they are in other states and unable to be with us.

So Happy New Year Everyone and stay safe and well and stay tuned for our new journey in
2013

5th - 7th December Taree

Leaving the farm today...looking forward to arriving at Taree and meeting up with my eldest brother Geoff and his partner Pat who I have not seen for over 12 months or so...

We arrived at the Taree Showground where my brother parked us next to the "Mens Shed" which he is the secretary and also the manager...

We enjoyed being shown around the shed and the good work these men do, I'm very proud to say Geoff is very involved in making various things to sell to raise money to buy the equipment, that's not already been donated to make wheel chairs for children in Vietnam and surrounding areas that have had limbs blown off with land mines...These men volunteer their time everyday to help people in need.

Congratulations to all the men involved...your doing a wonderful job... and anyone reading my blog that wish to donate any money to this cause please contact me...every little helps...

18th - 4th December 2012 House sitting at Byabarra

We moved on to Byabarra for our house sitting job...After turn off on the main road and travelling a gravel road for approx 5 klms, the owners had to cut back a few trees to get us in the driveway, we arrived at a beautiful property of 100 acres where we met up with the owners Doug & Ross who made us very welcome...We spent the afternoon going over what our chores were and then they left for Port Maquarie to head off on their holiday to Thailand.

They have a beautiful home and a garden with that many different plants in it...you seem to see a different one everyday...

The inside of their home is also beautiful..and full of different artifacts from around the world,

Our many jobs in the house sitting was to look after 5 averies and the animals... 4 dogs and a few pet cows and donkey's

And the babies !!!
