13th - 17th November 2012

From the 13th we traveled through to Tenterfield and stayed overnight on our way to Kootingal where we caught up with John's family his Sister Diann and her husband John...As always she spoiled us and cooked us a meal every night...

John was able to see his Mum again while here... she is doing well

12th November 2012 Sea World...

Today we headed to SeaWorld... John said he had not been here since before his children were born so we thought we would go check it out and see the new Penguins...and the Polar bears..

The Polar bear was having a great time in the water and was showing off for everyone...

The dolphin show is always a favourite... and the dolphins are amazing...

And then the cute Penguins with their chicks...and eggs..

9th - 12th November 2012 Broardwater Gold Coast

10th November 2012

Had a nice catch up with John's Son Daniel and we met his fiance for the first time, Jen...it was lovely to catch up.. and we had a few drinks and caught up on all the happens since we last saw Daniel.. which was almost 2 years ago..so John was very happy to see his son...

 

Later in the evening John and I had book a night show at the Australia Outback..the theme was the "Spirit of the Horse"...

 

On entering the show everyone was issued with a cowboy hat to get into the spirit..

We had great seats for the show and it included a 3 course meal and drinks.. we had a great night and the show was awesome... sorry no photos as we were not allowed to take any...

4th - 7th November 2012

We are coming to an end of our stay at Cottentree, We haven't done all what we planned to do because of all the truck problems and the hospital visits, but its been great being around family and spending some quality times together.

We went out to dinner at the local Maroochydore RSL Club with Derek and Janice and my nephew Craig and niece Joy and her family ...husband Mark and boys Kane, Blake and Luke... We had a great night

Tuesday 5th November 2012

John decided to finally get his fishing rod out to have a go at some beach fishing, not much luck but we enjoyed the time on the beach, I had a swim in the beautiful water to cool off...

Had coffee with Joy and Derek at Alexander Headlands this morning, beautiful morning .... After saying our finally goodbyes to Joy.... we went for a walk along the beach as it was such a lovely morning.

Thursday 7th November 2012

Packing up today once again, we are really sad to be leaving here, we would have stayed longer if we didn't have further commitments down the coast, but we are planning on coming back next year and spending a few months here.

Derek & Janice called around to see us one last time before we leave tomorrow, I baked my mango cake and we had a nice farewell supper.
